Got Questions?
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if it rains on my bounce house rental day?
Light rain doesn't necessarily cancel your rental — bounce houses can operate in light rain. For heavy rain, lightning, or high winds (20+ mph), we'll work with you to reschedule at no charge or issue a full refund.
Can you use a bounce house in the rain?
Light rain is generally fine for bounce houses. However, wet surfaces inside the bounce house can become slippery, so extra supervision is recommended. Heavy rain, lightning, or strong winds require immediate removal of children and deflation of the unit.
What is Wow Inflatables' rain policy?
If weather prevents safe operation on your rental day, we offer free rescheduling or a full refund. We monitor weather closely and communicate proactively. We never leave you without options.
What wind speed is too high for a bounce house?
Winds exceeding 20 mph are considered unsafe for inflatable operation. If sustained winds reach 20+ mph during your rental, all children should be removed from the unit immediately and the unit should be deflated.
What should I do if lightning appears during my rental?
Remove all children from the bounce house immediately if lightning is visible or thunder is audible. The general rule is: if you can hear thunder, lightning is close enough to be dangerous. Wait 30 minutes after the last lightning strike before resuming.
Can I get a refund if I cancel due to rain?
Yes — if weather makes safe operation impossible on your rental day, we offer a full refund or free rescheduling. Contact us as soon as possible so we can make arrangements.
